What kind of "dating events" are being held?
Dating Events is the fast, inexpensive and guaranteed
way for single people to meet - live and in person. You will go on
a minimum of 10 "speed" dates of seven and a half minutes each. You
will also have a chance to meet other singles before, during, and after
the dates themselves.
If both people from a date decide to meet again, we provide each of you
the other person's contact information within 48 hours of the event. If you
do not find a match, your next event with us IS FREE.
What actually happens at one of your events?
When you sign in at the event, you will receive a package containing:
- Suggested questions you might ask on each of your dates.
- A chart to fill in.
You will be assigned a numbered table to sit at, and will be given
instructions by your
event coordinator. When the coordinator tells you to begin you will have seven and a half
minutes to meet your date. When the time is up you will be notified to go to the next table.
You will repeat this ten times, with a short break after the fifth date.
After each date, you are to fill out your chart. Otherwise, it is likely that you will
forget important details about that particular date.
After the tenth date has ended, there will be a mix and mingle period. You can talk to
somebody with whom you've already dated with, or meet with someone else that has caught
your eye.
There will be a cash bar at the event, and your Dating Events coordinator
will provide selected complimentary hors d'oeuvres for your enjoyment.
Why do you say it is safe, fun, time & cost effective?
- Safe
It is safe because none of the attendees at our events
give out their last names, phone numbers, or email addresses.
Only if both people indicate they would like to date again will
Dating Events provide both parties with contact information.
- Fun
Most people that participate with Dating Events tell us they
enjoyed the event. There is a room full of singles who want to meet
someone else for fun and romance. Because of the limited time, participants
find interaction time to be very rewarding, and quite different from the
typical dating or bar scene. Everyone is there to have fun and find others
with whom they connect with.
- Time and Cost Effective
How many dates can you go on and have it cost less than $5? You are
only committed to seven and a half minutes on each date, and if you make
a match, you can spend all the time you want on your next date! If a date
doesn't seem to be matching up well, you've only invested a few minutes into
it, not the entire evening, as with traditional dating.
